When applications have tight space requirements and Coaxial Illumination is necessary, Qioptiq can offer a Low-Profile Right Angle Coax Port for use on Zoom 70XL, NIR Zoom 70XL, Zoom 125C and our Fixed Magnification Systems (FMOS). The Low-Profile Right Angle Coax Port replaces the existing Fiber Optic Lamphouse (included on Coaxial Bottom Module) on the Zoom 70XL, NIR Zoom 70XL and FMOS products. It replaces the need to order the Fiber Optic Lamphouse (30-16-02) on the Zoom 125C. |

The standard Fiber Optic Lamphouse on the Zoom 70XL, NIR Zoom 70XL and FMOS products extends out at a 90 degree angle from the optical axis. Its length is 54mm from the optical centerline of the system. This dimension does not include the Fiber Optic Adapter and the bend radius of the Fiber Optic Cable. The Low-Profile Right Angle Coax Port for these coax modules (33-04-00) extends out 44mm from the optical centerline of the system and does not require a bend radius for the cable as the cable exits vertically out of the port. The standard Fiber Optic Lamphouse assembly (30-16-02) for the Zoom 125C System extends out at a 90 degrees angle from the optical axis. Its length is 87mm from the optical centerline of the system (not including the bend radius of the fiber optic cable which can be upwards of 50mm for this system). The Low-Profile Right Angle Coax Port for the 125C (33-05-00) extends out only 62mm from the optical centerline and doesn't require a bend radius for the cable as the cable exits vertically out of the port. |
