Best Scientific was established in 1993 by Eric Best, Managing Director, in the central area of Swindon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom. specializing and troubleshooting in the science of microscopy and t.v. applications both in life and material science, paying'special attention to industrial machine requirements by replacing or adding t.v. and digital technology where no previous solution existed, also incorporating specialized lighting and optical systems, with the new LEDS technology for white light and fluorescence illumination that would compliment the t.v. digital camera of choice in perhaps areas of unusual, or awkward situations and positions for t.v. vision systems to be established.
We supply and customise various makes of microscopes for biological and industrial uses, the 21 century requirements for research is to have microscopes that cover both biological and material science aspects. Best Scientific covers all ologies in all sciences.
Best Scientific is an independent supplier within the umbrella of acting as a distributor to Thales-Optem Inc. formerly known as the French company Thompsons , distributor for U.K. Europe and worldwide for their optical product range of equipment, Best Scientific has been a premier distributor since 1994. In recent years Best Scientific's turnover has been between 1.5 and 2.5 million due to the significant growth in the telecoms optoelectronics market.

Our company is a total systems integrator so in our specialisation we build from t.v. camera, optics, micro sensors switches, XYZ stage movement, computer step up systems etc. We also manufacture component parts for flat screen TFT television systems for our own unique switching system. I have my own engineer to modify and make parts on a small or large scale with CNC machining.
